There are literally hundreds of strategies out there relating to classroom management techniques. Fred Jones and Harry Wong are just two you may have already studied, and you will be reading about many more before your coursework is completed!
This blog was developed to offer you a few strategies that we have seen being successfully implemented in classrooms this past year. In conjunction with the 2008 EDTP 678 Mini-Leadership Conference, we hope you will find these examples, suggestions and the provided brochure helpful as you plan for your new year of teaching.
Both of your presenters well remember attending our Mini-Leadership Conference and being somewhat intimidated with all the information, discussions, handouts, and presentations. Hopefully this blog will allow you to review our presentation and examples at your convenience later as you plan for your new teaching career strategies.
You have an extremely supportive team behind you at the University, a beneficial Cohort group, many of whom you will remain in contact for years to come and your own determination to make a difference in your student's lives. We wish you great success in your endeavors. If you have any questions feel free to comment through this blog and one of us will be sure to reply.
Thank you for your interest and time, and Happy Teaching!!!
